Job Summary
The Director of Quality leverages ChartSpan teams, data, and technology resources to support ChartSpan client-related quality reporting services such as; MIPS, Stars, HEDIS or other quality measures. This position works with ChartSpan clients to identify established quality metrics and program to impact the measure outcome. Day-to-day job duties may entail, diagnosis and resolves issues, designs effective client service plans and perform internal or external measure training. In addition, this position optimizes existing infrastructure to create scale, supports key client-facing activities, and ensures the team meets required KPIs.

Essential Duties
  • Review and mastery of content contained in client EHR and/or Registry Quality reporting systems

  • Navigation of EHR’s in order to obtain and digest client quality compliance

  • Ability to assess client documentation and compliance related to quality measures

  • Diagnosis of failures or gaps in physician performance reporting

  • Analysis of client and third-party reports

  • Remote and in-person consultation with client quality performance leaders

  • Impact client quality performance through the closure of gaps in care

  • Coordination and collaboration with ChartSpan Client Services and Clinical Services teams to infuse quality management activities into Provider and Patients’ monthly care plans

  • Analytic display and interpretation of data

  • Provide transparency and visibility into individual and client cohort performance against targets

  • Creation and management of scalable processes

  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities Required
  • Knowledge of Value-Based programs

  • Understanding of MIPS, Stars, HEDIS measure performance

  • Ability to successfully manage multiple complex projects simultaneously

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of 5 years experience working directly with physician practices in a related capacity

  • Mastery of EHR landscape and familiarity with MACRA, MIPS, Medicare and Meaningful Use programs

  • Knowledge of or ability to quickly master CMS Rulings that impact ChartSpan programs

  • Problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient experience in G-Suite and standard health care data file formats

  • Ability to travel up to 50%

  • Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Experience:
  • LPN or RN – or - Physician Practice or Quality Manager – or – EHR Client Services Professional with an emphasis on Quality measures.
