Visit Ensocare at the 2020 Virtual ACMA National Conference

The software company, known for making transitions of care more efficient for hospitals, healthcare systems and post-acute providers, is sponsoring and exhibiting at this year’s ACMA conference with an online trade show presence, contributions to ACMA’s COVID-19 resource guide and a webinar.

OMAHA, Neb. – The American Case Management Association’s National Conference will look a little different this year, and Ensocare will continue to be there to support case managers.

Starting July 15, attendees can visit ACMA’s 2020 Virtual event, happening online and on demand to help case managers stay safe during the pandemic while still being able to learn, network and find out more about the cutting-edge software and strategies shaping the case management field in 2020 and beyond.

Ensocare is an exhibiting sponsor of this event, which means visitors can visit a digital “booth” on ACMA’s virtual trade floor to learn more about Ensocare’s solutions and meet the team.

Case managers are encouraged to attend an educational webinar taking place in August that’s hosted by Chief Clinical Officer Mary Kay Thalken, RN, MBA. Ms. Thalken will guide registrants through how the COVID-19 pandemic has transformed care transitions (and care delivery) for the foreseeable future. Details about registration will be available soon.

“The ongoing COVID-19 emergency has emphasized that the role of the case manager within healthcare is more important than ever,” said Luis Castillo, president and CEO of Ensocare. “The pandemic has certainly altered how we meet and share best practices, but ACMA has created a wonderful opportunity here to continue to learn and gather together in a way that keeps us all safe. We can’t wait to share some of what we’ve discovered since the pandemic began and talk about the exciting ways case managers can make a positive difference in patient recovery moving forward.”

In addition to the aforementioned booth and webinar, Ensocare is featured in Collaborative Case Management’s Special Issue on COVID-19: The Impact on Case Management and Transitions of Care. The Ensocare article “Speeding Up Discharge Communication with Post-Acute Providers in a Crisis” (p. 27) provides vital tips on reaching post-acute providers and is a valuable resource for case management teams.
