MEDITECH announced yesterday at its annual leadership summit, MEDITECH LIVE, that customers are now successfully live with the latest workflow advancements to MEDITECH’s Traverse Exchange interoperability solution. The nationwide network now includes a consolidated patient summary, which improves clinician efficiency and reduces cognitive load by providing clinicians with a streamlined view of patient data from multiple sources. By intelligently filtering out redundant information and organizing key data elements in an accessible, searchable format, the solution enables faster, more informed decision-making—all within the native EHR workflow.
Feedback from one customer noted that since going live with Traverse Exchange, they have retrieved over three million documents, with more than 70% coming from health systems using the Epic EHR. The network is even helping to reduce costs, increase revenue, and build patient trust. By keeping patients at the center, Traverse Exchange is helping health systems provide the highest quality care while maintaining their independence.
