A day in the life of a Communications Coordinator
The Communication Coordinator plays a vital role in shaping and executing effective communication strategies for KONZA National Network The position is responsible for working with subject matter experts to create content and applying that content with creative control to build out PowerPoint presentations, Social Media posts, newsletters, and other digital communications. Additionally, this role coordinates and organizes presentations, and webinars, and supports other functions within the marketing team.

This position is a part of our Marketing team, helping to create internal and external content that supports our business expansion and using storytelling skills to showcase KONZA National Network as a leader in health information exchange. This position works closely with subject matter experts to create content and communications that resonate with end users and supports the expansion of the KONZA brand.

Essential Functions of the Communications Coordinator:
The Communication Coordinator is responsible for digital media campaigns, collaborates with subject matter experts on content, and is responsible for coordination, creation, and facilitation of presentations and webinars.
· Brainstorm and collaborate with subject matter experts to help develop ideas for engaging communications for use across social media and newsletters
· Manage social media accounts, including the creation of social media posts and responses to promote user engagement and promote the KONZA brand. Manage scheduled presentations, including creating presentation decks, scheduling and facilitating practice runs, and serving as the primary point of contact for presentation coordination.
· Manage webinars, including creating presentation decks, coordinating with presenters, logistics, and day-of facilitation.
· Coordinate with web design and graphic designer on the creation of website and sales collateral.
· SecurityTeam Member access to protected health information requires team members to meet the highest standards of security.

Communications Coordinator Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skill, and Ability)
· 2 years of experience in communications, marketing, journalism or related field
· Experience with website administration, newsletter publications, community affairs, public relations, or promotions
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field, preferred
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Proven computer skills with an emphasis in areas of website administration and social media
· Experience working in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or related design programs
· Highly developed interpersonal skills
· Ability to be flexible and open to changing priorities and challenges
· Ability to work well in a fast-paced culture
· Ability to multi-task and handle multiple parallel projects
· Ability to work well with others (be a team player)
· Ability to work independently with little direction
· Able to prioritize work according to deadlines and organizational initiatives to produce assigned outcomes
· Highly developed problem-solving skills
· Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables
· MS Project or equivalent project management software experience
· Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
· Strong business analysis, problem-solving, interpersonal, customer management, and project management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $49,500.00 per year
