Zynx Health to Host Webinar: “Zynx FHIR API: Your Shortcut to App Excellence”
Webinar to highlight how organizations can shorten implementations, reduce costs, and expand product coverage by leveraging Zynx Health’s SMART on FHIR-based clinical content.
Providers and third-party developers creating healthcare apps often need quality clinical content for their health IT applications. Zynx Health FHIR API makes it easy for organizations to incorporate high-quality, evidence-based content that is well-suited for any care setting throughout the health journey. By leveraging Zynx Health’s SMART on FHIR-based content, developers can shorten their product implementation timelines, reduce clinical development costs, and expand the availability of their offerings.
“This webinar provides an excellent opportunity for third-party solution developers, product managers, and providers to better understand the advantages of using our FHIR-based clinical content within their app or clinical solution,” said Jim Connolly, senior vice president of product development for Zynx Health. “For development teams participating in the Zynx Design and Innovation Challenge, this webinar can jumpstart the submission process and fuel ideas for developing the concepts and prototypes that use Zynx clinical content.”
The Zynx Health FHIR API extends the availability of Zynx Health’s award-winning evidence-based content throughout the healthcare ecosphere, from ambulatory care settings, to post-acute care, home care, and more. At its core, the API enables multiple platforms to access the most clinically accurate and relevant care guidance, including analytics applications, financial applications, clinical quality improvement, and workflow applications. Additionally, the API ensures the right clinical guidance across all tools to enable interoperability of applications and care settings.
The Zynx Design and Innovation Challenge includes $20,000 in prize money and encourages the exploration of new use cases that leverage Zynx clinical content to enhance the delivery of patient care and reduce clinical and financial variation. Challenge participants have until Dec. 1, 2017 to submit entries that will be judged based on their ability to:
- · Enhance the delivery of patient care
- · Reduce clinical or financial variation
- · Help meet a regulatory requirement
- · Work with typical clinical workflows and be interoperable with the typical EHR system.
“Our evidence-based clinical content is proven to drive better clinical decision making,” said John Chang, MD, PhD, MPH, FACP, vice president, head clinical team at Zynx Health. “With the introduction of our SMART on FHIR-enabled API, we’ve made it easier for third-party solution developers and providers to consume our evidence-based clinical content. Our design and innovation challenge allows us to support the solutions offered by other healthcare technology companies, making our clinical content even more valuable and supporting our mission of healthier lives for all.”
