A leading international medical PACS provider has an immediate opening for a Clinical Application Specialist. Sectra is looking for a new team member with extensive training and clinical background to make our application team stronger. The applicant will be part of the deployment team for new installs which handles all external training; on-site, in classroom and web based for PACS and all add-on packages as well as go live support for new deployments. You need to have excellent presentation skills, computer skills, be organized and be able to handle multiple simultaneous demands. Other responsibilities include planning, scheduling and working together with the customer to develop an end product that fill their needs workflow and clinical needs.

In this position, you will:
- Perform PACS workflow analysis
- Plan and schedule training activities during the deployment
- Provide on-site and web-based training as well as classroom training
- Provide remote diagnostic support for technical, clinical, and end user problems using the latest remote access technologies
- Provide positive, cohesive company image when discussing the company, products, and management decisions with internal and external customers
- Make sure Sectra's customers are knowledgeable enough to use our products in order to maximize their use of it
- Organize and provide appropriate go-live support
- A master’s, bachelor’s or equivalent degree in computer engineering or equivalent with a strong academic performance
- 5-7 year experience with a medical IT company
- Previous PACS Health care IT experience in Vendor environment
- Have experience with the Windows Server platform, clustering, and MS SQL Server or Oracle
- Have knowledge of DICOM, HL7 and other health care interoperability standards
- Have experience with medical IT systems
- Have knowledge of virtual environments, for example VMware
- Familiarity with information systems
- Fluency in English
- Occasional on-site travel required (<10%)
