CarePort Health is seeking an experienced, results-driven Regional Business Development Manager to identify and build relationships with HIEs, EMRs, hospital associations, and other key healthcare data partners. This new position is critical to the timely collection and integration of acute and post-acute healthcare data to support CarePort’s national care coordination initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with state, regional HIEs, hospital associations, ACOs, EMRs, SNFs, and other community partners to understand their business needs and articulate the value-added benefit of CarePort partnership.
- Quickly grow CarePort market share in national and regional hospital markets.
- Work with the leadership team in negotiating pricing and contract terms.
- Clearly articulate CarePort’s value proposition and value-add to HIEs, associations, and other prospective partners.
- Identify, network with, and participate in, regional HIT councils, advisory boards, media partners, activities, and events.
- 5-7 years of sales experience in the healthcare industry, with strong HIE knowledge and business relationships.
- Understanding of topics and trends impacting hospital systems, including but not limited to payment reform, HIE, interoperability, EMRs, care coordination, population health management, and value-based reimbursement.
- Exceed expectations and work independently.
- Understanding of HIE models and ADT feeds.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Analytic mindset.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- BA or BS Degree in healthcare, computer science or related field.
- Regional travel (25%)
