SECTRA- Implementation Engineer - Brittany Santella - 06-11-2021
Sectra is looking for an Implementation Engineer with a passion for Healthcare and IT. As an Engineer at Sectra you will work in the Deployment Department/Support Department in close cooperation with our customers.
In this position, you will:
- Apart from Sectra's own advanced products and solutions, you will also have the chance to work with and constantly learn more about clustered IT environment, complex databases, virtual servers, cloud solutions, and integrations between different health care systems
- Work proficiently with the Sectra Enterprise Imaging platform, databases, and developmental tools
- Independently develop, manage, and perform complex migration projects
- Perform technical training for end users
- Partner with Project Managers and work in close cooperation with customers and their IT departments
- Assist in developing Professional Services scope of works (SOW)
- A master’s, bachelor’s or equivalent degree in computer engineering or equivalent with a strong academic performance
- 5-7 year experience with a medical IT company
- Previous PACS Health care IT experience in Vendor environment
- Have experience with the Windows Server platform, clustering, and MS SQL Server or Oracle
- Have knowledge of DICOM, HL7 and other health care interoperability standards
- Have experience with medical IT systems
- Have knowledge of virtual environments, for example VMware
- Familiarity with information systems
- Fluency in English
- Occasional on-site travel required (<10%)
