Role Description

The Head of Product will identify new and expanded market opportunities and own the product roadmap, requirements definition and design of products/solutions to meet demonstrated market needs.
 
The role will report to the Chief Executive Officer and work closely with the CTO, Client Success, Marketing, Engineering and other Sansoro personnel.
 
Primary Responsibilities
The Head of Product will be a key member of the Sansoro senior management team with a primary focus on enhancing the definition and growth of Sansoro’s products.
 
Product/Market Evaluation & Innovation
  • Supporting Sansoro Health’s vision and success by defining products and features that create clear positive differentiation among key customer decision makers and industry influencers. 
  • Spearheading investigation and analyses product markets and product opportunities, processing this information, identifying options, and presenting these to the Senior Management Team for validation and testing.
  • Synthesizing various technologies and capabilities into Sansoro’s products in such a way that meets and exceeds customer expectations.
  • Informing pricing decisions based on what the market will bear for the value provided.
  • Understanding the competition and their features, benefits, positioning, pricing, strengths, and weaknesses and responding accordingly to ensure Sansoro success.
 
Collaboration
  • Prioritizing current customer needs along with new market and other new business opportunity requirements.
  • Working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and other departments to deliver Sansoro’s products into the market.
  • Delivering presentations at all levels internally and externally, up to and including the C level.
 
Measuring Outcomes
  • Monitoring and tracking product success via a set of key performance indicators tied to company goals.
  • Overseeing day-to-day product management activities to ensure alignment with Sansoro’s growth objectives.

About You
  • You are highly analytical and able to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • You have demonstrated success with health IT product management and direct experience addressing enterprise data integration challenges.
  • You can bridge conversations between business and technical resources, providing the right level of detail for each audience.
  • You are completely comfortable working with customers and public speaking.
  • You can persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication.
  • You are excited to bring best practices and new ideas to a start-up.
 
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
  • 10-12 years of experience in product management in the health care market with a focus on enterprise IT solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to use information/data and various metrics to develop an informed and factual business case.
  • Experience with data integration solutions, especially products targeted at technologists (CTOs, CIOs, Application VPs and Directors, Infrastructure VPs and Directors).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.

Minneapolis/St. Paul preferred
Up to 50% travel may be required
