PerfectServe is looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist in the Knoxville, TN area to drive a comprehensive demand generation strategy.

The Marketing Automation Specialist will report to the VP, Marketing and ensure that Perfect Serve’s demand generation strategy is well defined, communicated and executed. This is a key marketing role working closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute, analyze and improve customer acquisition programs through multiple marketing channels. Working in collaboration with our digital and content marketing strategists, this role is responsible for identifying opportunities and creating marketing programs to generate demand, building a predictable funnel for growth. This position requires a unique blend of technical, creative, analytic, and project management expertise.

  • Drive content creation and marketing campaign execution designed to demonstrate the value of PerfectServe’s clinical communication and care team collaboration solution
  • Understand the various personas we are targeting and develop campaigns with specific content for optimal engagement
  • Employ Marketo software to develop and execute measurable strategic, integrated lead generation and go-to-market plans
  • Establish campaign metrics, closed loop reporting and ROI
  • Forecast, measure, analyze and report on the impact of demand creation activities on sales pipeline, revenue and sales cycle length
  • Apply response analysis and best practices to optimize all aspects of demand generation
  • Responsible for analyzing, testing and optimizing every stage of the demand generation funnel
  • Maintain a collaborative relationship with the sales team, communicating new campaigns and gaining feedback on quality of leads
  • Design, test and execute progressive automated nurture and engagement campaigns, with targeted focus on various stages of the buying cycle
  • Determine content gaps and collaborate with the content team to develop new assets
  • Manage the organization of data within the Salesforce CRM database (unsubscribes/opt-outs, list purchases, etc.) as well as all components of the Marketo to Salesforce synchronization
  • Data mine from current prospects to formulate unique segmentations for demand creation
  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing leadership to prioritize campaigns and ensure effective execution
  • Responsible for Marketo administration, maintenance and deployment of expanded features to further marketing efforts
  • Oversee Marketo Revenue Cycle reporting
  • Manage SEO and SEM initiatives including creating and optimizing landing pages, forms and organic search; reporting on outcomes via Google Analytics
  • Oversee brand compliance throughout integrated marketing campaigns (including, but not limited to, signatures, banner/collateral graphics, tone, overall look and feel)
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or similar field
  • Marketo Certified Expert (MCE) preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive B2B marketing and demand generation management experience, preferably with a healthcare information technology company
  • Demonstrated proficiency with multiple formats of demand generation, including, but not limited to email, website, PPC, SEO, Social, and direct mail
  • Advanced knowledge of best practices in B2B marketing automation, demand generation, and rules-based lead nurturing
  • Experience developing lead scoring and nurturing programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external audiences
  • Highly proficient in and Marketo marketing automation system
  • Working knowledge of HTML a plus
