Pearson to Deliver Zynx Health’s Evidence-based Clinical Content to Improve Student Achievement in Nursing Education
Integration of RealEHRPrep with iCare online learning solution with Zynx Health content helps nursing students to advance their competency in preparation for clinical practice
LOS ANGELES August 22, 2017 Zynx Health™, a market leader in providing evidence- and experience-based clinical improvement solutions, announced today that Pearson, the world’s learning company, will utilize Zynx Health’s evidence-based clinical content within its online learning solution for pre-licensure nursing students. Leveraging the Zynx Health FHIR API, the clinical content will be seamlessly integrated into the iCare online learning solution, enabling customizable, real-time and on-demand receipt of the latest clinical decision support information to enhance nursing students’ knowledge and proficiency.
Pearson offers students the opportunity to develop and hone their skills using RealEHRPrep with iCare, a documentation learning resource developed in partnership with iCare, the enterprise cloud EHR company. Students can access Zynx Health order sets and plans of care from within iCare’s EHR workflows to advance their clinical practice competency.
“By incorporating the use of an EHR within its training program, Pearson has created an excellent environment to prepare nursing students for success in the workforce,” said Kevin Daly, president of Zynx Health. “Pearson is further enhancing the readiness and employability of its students by exposing them to Zynx’s evidence-based clinical content, which is the same content used daily by thousands of healthcare organizations and clinicians to improve the quality, safety and efficiency of healthcare.”
Added Daly, “This is yet another example of how Zynx Health is committed to driving better care outcomes, starting from the very beginning of a practitioner’s journey. With the integration of our recently launched Zynx Health FHIR API, we continue to accelerate and extend the availability of our award-winning evidence-based content across platforms to support consistent, optimal care throughout the healthcare ecosystem.”
