DALLAS —  October 29, 2014  — CTG HealthSolutions (CTGHS), a leading health information technology (HIT) consulting firm anda business unit of CTG, an IT solutions and services company, announced today that four of the company’s Advisory Services team members achieved PCMH CCE (Patient-Centered Medical Home Certified Content Expert[sup]TM[/sup])certification having successfully completed the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA)’s  rigorous certification course and exam. The PCMH CCE exam requires extensive expertise in PCMH policies and standards. The CTG Health Solutions Advisory Services team now has five PCMH CCE consultants who collectively have 85 years of clinical, administrative, and executive healthcare leadership experience, and more than 50 years of consulting experience. As PCMH CCEs, this team of experienced consultants has demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the requirements, application process, and documentation needed for PCMH Recognition.

The CTG Health Solutions Advisory Services consultants recently earning PCMH CCE certification include:

·        John Hoffstatter, PA-C, MS CIS, PCMH CCE
·        Kathleen Mrozek, MS, PCMH CCE
·        Linda Lockwood, RN, MBA, PCMH CCE

This group joins Jeanette Ball, BSN, RN, PCMH CCE in earning this certification.Ms. Ball has led CTG Health Solutions’ PCMH work to date, successfully bringing PCMH recognition to over 15 physician practices and over 100 physicians who all achieved Level 3 recognition. She has also coached over 30 practices in PCMH principles towards their PCMH endeavors.

The firm’s PCMH work has been linked to documented improvements in diabetes outcomes throughout Western New York. This work and results have been presented and published nationally in a number of forums, including the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) 2014 Annual Conference, the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI)’s 5[sup]th[/sup] Annual International Summit on Improving Patient Care in the Office Practice and the Community, and the peer-reviewed Journal of Healthcare Information Management 2014 spring edition.
