Regional Vice President of Sales West Coast
 
Prepared Health is looking for a senior-level Regional Vice President of Sales to lead the West Coast. This is a regional position based in the West Coast. 

Primary responsibility will be to lead and manage sales activities within the allocated region with a focus on direct selling into hospitals, health systems and related healthcare solution providersThe position includes direct sales to customers, strategic partners and some channel sales responsibilities in the region. The ideal candidate will have experience selling healthcare software solutions with strong technical skills in selling care coordination software and services. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and people skills and will be self-driven with the ability to travel up to 50% or more.  Must have a proven track record of measurable success.
 
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree is required 
  • 7 – 10 years of sales experience is required (healthcare software sales experience preferred)
  • Exceptional communication skills by phone and in person
 
Job Duties: 
  • Meet or exceed sales quota in assigned territory. Be a clinical expert in Care Coordination software
  • Exhibit strong business acumen to include contract negotiations, business reviews and business proposals
  • Develop and implement territory business plans designed to achieve sales quota in the region
  • Build sustainable business relationships with hospitals and post-acute care organizations within region
  • Create new business opportunities in alignment with company focus and priorities
  • Meet or exceed regional and corporate sales goals
  • Communicate market intelligence to team members and marketing department of competitor’s new product offerings, pricing strategy, and merchandising practices in the assigned territory
  • Complete and submit all administrative responsibilities accurately and on time (CRM, expense reports, and PTO)
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows as directed by the SVP of Sales & Marketing
  • Maintain and expand knowledge of Prepared Health product offerings, competitors, and local market changes
  • Become proficient with the Prepared Health platform and be able to demonstrate the product
  • Adhere to Prepared Health policies and code of conduct in an ethical manner
  • Perform all other essential duties as required
 
Job Requirements:
  • Proven experience, meeting or exceeding performance expectations
  • Medical software selling/marketing experience is strongly desired
  • Proven and measurable track record of success
  • Proficient in developing and following quarterly and annual business plans
  • Strong closing skills
  • Work well in teams
  • Maintain and expand existing "run rate" business 
  • Effectively demonstrate and sell benefits of the Prepared Health platform
  • Experience with CRM software
  • Organized with strong time management skills
  • High-energy, with excellent work ethic, both reliable and positive
  • Occasional need and ability to travel outside region
