GetWellNetwork Names Sameer Siraj as First Chief Product Officer
Former OptumInsight leader to head global product management
WASHINGTON, D.C.— Oct. 18, 2018 — GetWellNetwork, the Precision Engagement health care company, today announced the appointment of Sameer Siraj as chief product officer, a new role for the company. Siraj will oversee the development and growth of GetWellNetwork’s portfolio of cross-continuum patient experience solutions.
“Sameer’s keen understanding of market trends, clients’ needs and the competitive landscape will help guide and align tactical activities across the organization as we enter the next phase of growth,” said Michael O’Neil, founder and CEO of GetWellNetwork. “I’m excited for the next evolution of our product suite under his leadership.”
GetWellNetwork is counting on Siraj’s unique blend of strategic and commercial instincts, leadership skills, tech prowess and pure passion for possibilities to bring a new level of focus and unity to their product management team.

Prior to joining GetWellNetwork in 2018, Siraj was vice president of product management and strategy at OptumInsight—UnitedHealth Group’s health and innovation services unit. There he led a team driving digital transformation across the company’s portfolio of cloud-based Information Technology as a Service (ITaaS) and Business Process as a Service (BPaaS) solutions.
His résumé also includes 12 years at Seagate Technology and product development positions with Ciena Corporation and Lucent Technology. He holds an MBA from Duke University and a master of science in electrical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis. Siraj earned a bachelor of technology in electronics & communication from India’s University of Kerala.
Siraj will be a member of GetWellNetwork’s executive leadership team and report to O’Neil. He is the latest in a series of leadership appointments at GetWellNetwork following the appoints of Nikia Bergan as chief growth officer, Nazir Rostom as chief financial officer and Peter Keating as chief people officer.
